Little Everglades Ranch Continuous Drive

The Drive was held November 29th and it was a beautiful fall day, good for competitors and great for the horses. It was our first event for the driving community and I was supported by John Porter and Erika Ematulich and I did not need to worry about the fun factor. They had that completely in control. We were not strictly a Continuous Drive format but a cross between Trekking and the Drive. We had several challenges the competitors could test themselves and their horses in, and then a good distance drive for them also. We were blessed with a really good group of about 30 competitors and a lot of them drove in the morning and volunteered in the afternoon. We were blessed to have so many help out. Thank you all again. Southcreek Foxhounds were on hand with burger, hotdogs, drinks and snacks. We hoped to showcase the site of the 2010 Little Everglades International CDE, coming up January 28th thru the 30th, and everyone was pleased to see the obstacles and surrounding terrain. Thank you all for attending and helping and hope this gave all the training level drivers something to brag about. They all had fun and want to know when the next one is... here is a couple of pictures of the hay roll hazards that tried the horses and drivers.
